Client Support Associate

On the back of a successful 2015 and as our client base continues to grow, we’re looking for a switched on, hard working, and passionate person to join our Client Happiness team to help us make a positive difference to secondary school students across the country.

This is perfect for an applicant with a few years of experience in the workplace, either through internships, a grad program, or another avenue. The primary responsibility of the role is client service and support within a varied and fun team. Being a startup, there are plenty of opportunities to hit the ground running and make an impact on our procedures and processes now. Additionally, there is excellent growth potential for the right candidate.

About you

We are looking for someone who will be a long-term rockstar within Edrolo; someone who will become integral to our team; someone who is ready to grow and help grow our business.

This role is ideally suited to someone who has a few years of experience, and is now looking to make a real impact. We're after someone who has a proven track record of achievement and the ability to solve complex problems. If you've achieved great things in life, business, or academia and are ready for a career change then this might be the position for you.

An excellent customer service manner is required, as is the ability to think creatively and get things done. We look for problem solvers who are switched on and like a challenge. You will need to be able to integrate seamlessly with our existing diverse and fun team.

The role

Working in the Melbourne office, the role has a primary responsibility for client support and customer service. This is an entry-level position, ideally suited to someone who has spent a few years gaining experience, and is now looking to make a real difference.

As our client base and office team expand, we have a need for a gun support person to help us 'scale up' our processes and client support. You will have the opportunity to work alongside passionate and dynamic people who are changing the way education is delivered in Australia and abroad.

Key role responsibilities

  • Building and maintaining successful client relationships with secondary schools
  • Managing user account queries by email and phone
  • Assisting students, teachers, parents and school Principals to use Edrolo at full capacity
  • Helping scale up our processes as the business grows
  • Actively contributing to a positive team culture
  • Other tasks as required

Role Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have excellent customer service manner — it doesn't matter how you can demonstrate this. You will also need:

  • Bachelor degree or higher
  • Outstanding customer service capabilities
  • Moderate or better computer skills
  • Passion for our vision to improve education
  • Ability to understand and work through complex processes
  • Ability to work under pressure and to adhere to deadlines
  • Ability to be creative and improve business processes

School Programs Associate / Account Manager - Melbourne

The School Programs Associate is focused on fostering and maintaining relationships with existing and new partner schools by providing both proactive and reactive support to clients in their effective use of all Edrolo products. Interactions with schools include both in person and the use of virtual spaces, conducting teacher and student training in addition to supporting partner schools and educating teachers on the value and use of online resources.

Working with schools across Victoria (and beyond), the Account Manager will ensure schools are getting the most out of the resource and look for further Edrolo use cases where possible. Maintaining and growing our current relationships with schools is at the heart of the role.

Based in our Melbourne office, the role allows you the opportunity to work alongside enthusiastic and spirited people who are passionate about the way education is delivered in Australia, and enhancing student learning experiences. Our office is a relaxed and open space. We dress casually and work hard. We're constantly pushing ourselves and each other to achieve, to make things better, to drive us all forward.

Key role responsibilities

  • Building and maintaining successful client relationships with partner secondary schools
  • Proactively and reactively liaising with key school contacts and teachers on a daily basis
  • Respond to school queries and issues in a timely manner ensuring all school information is up to date in our CRM database
  • Strategic planning both internally and with partner schools
  • Visit schools for meetings and provide training for teachers and students
  • Facilitate online training sessions
  • Translate product feedback and improvements to our Tech and Content Teams
  • Actively participate in team meetings and discussions
  • Regular communication with company Founders and colleagues
  • Issue and follow up any invoices/class changes
  • Other tasks as may be required.

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor degree or higher and experience within the education sector
  • Ability to demonstrate outstanding achievement in aspects of professional or learning life
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to quickly evaluate, troubleshoot and follow up a problem and suggest a creative response
  • Passionate about cultivating client relationships and integrating technology into education
  • Hard working and self motivated individual with excellent time management skills
  • Tech savvy and able to confidently stand in front of an audience of students and teachers
  • Self-starter that works well autonomously as well as in a team
  • Adapts and embraces change quickly
  • Strong English skills, both written and spoken
  • Full time access to a car is a requirement for this role

Digital Content Producer - Melbourne

We are excited to be offering multiple positions as we expand our Digital Content team ahead of our 2018 catalogue build.

Based in Fitzroy, this role will throw you into a fast-paced business production environment where we prize both quality and efficacy. As a Digital Content Producer you will be expected to handle a range of tasks including video editing, recording content, using our platform to create courses, and many more.

We are looking for individuals who:

  • Will work with both productivity and quality in mind

Key role responsibilities

  • Editing video using Adobe Premiere to a high standard
  • Uploading and creating content in our website administration
  • Running solo recording sessions with our course presenters
  • Helping scale up our processes as the business grows
  • Actively contributing to a team culture of learning and improvement
  • Miscellaneous content tasks as they arise, such as formatting presentations and data entry

Role Requirements

  • Availability to work full time hours
  • Proven experience in video production, whether from a degree or self-taught
  • Be very comfortable with computers and technology
  • Have experience within the Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Premiere.
    • Experience in Illustrator, Indesign, Photoshop, Audition and After Effects will be seen favourably
  • Attention to detail
    • An eye for consistency and strong written communication skills are desirable
  • Ability to understand and work through complex processes
  • Ability to work under pressure and to adhere to deadlines
  • Willing to work within a team in a rapidly changing startup environment
  • You will need to own a laptop capable of editing large 1080p video projects
  • Willing to work the occasional weekend to run recording sessions
