It’s hard to believe Edrolo has been creating and publishing curriculum resources for nearly 10 years now. We’ve partnered with 1000s of schools across Australia, helping teachers educate the next generation. Last year we reached a massive 71 million online video plays and 106 million pieces of content viewed by teachers and students through Edrolo.
We’ve seen that our community of teachers face a common challenge. Whether it be Biology in Dubbo, Mathematics in Toowoomba, or English in Mt Eliza, teachers are all searching for quality learning resources that both fit the different ways they teach, and get students excited and learning.
Providing you with the best learning resources is our reason for being, and a significant responsibility – something we don’t shoulder lightly. Our team of almost 200, affectionately known as Edrollers, work on this every day. We believe we can make the biggest difference and impact by focusing on improving the 6,000+ hours a student spends in their secondary education. In short, we’re on a mission to work with schools to improve education.
As you know, such a goal doesn’t just happen. Nor does it happen overnight. We’ve reinvested 100% of our revenue over the past decade back into the business, along with significant additional investment, to make this a reality. Assembling teams of content creators and authors to research, develop, test and create content that teachers and students will love.
We spend thousands of hours researching, drafting, editing, and building our resources.
Today, we're so excited to let you know that we are embarking on an ambitious educational resource build. Starting now with Year 7, we’re creating a complete catalogue of core curriculum-aligned resources for Science, Maths, Humanities, and more, for Years 7 to 12 Australia-wide. Students and teachers are already loving our new Year 7 resources - see for yourself in this video from Good News Lutheran College in Melbourne.
As you might see in the coming days in the press, to achieve this mammoth goal, we’ve raised capital from investors to scale up and expand the resources we offer. We want to build more resources for Australian secondary schools, and to do this we need more Edrollers. As our valued partner, we wanted you to hear about this from us first. This additional capital is allowing us to free up our content creators and authors to spend 10,000s of hours ensuring the highest quality content is created, use ethically sourced paper for our textbooks, significantly upgrade our systems so we can deliver products directly to students, and so much more.
For teachers, the resources you are going to see from us are what you've been waiting for:
You can visit our website to learn more about these resources for Maths and Science - and we’ll share more about Humanities when it’s available later this year.
Our commitment to partnering with you does not waver. We want to get the very best resources into the hands of every teacher and student. So, from all of us here at Edrolo, a heartfelt thank you. Thank you for partnering with us, for providing your feedback, for allowing us into your classrooms, so that together we can help every student learn and achieve their full potential.
Ben, Jeremy, Duncan and the entire Edrolo team
