New Interim CEO for Edrolo
After almost 2 years of successful leadership, our inaugural CEO, David Wright, has announced he’ll be stepping down from the role. Peter Goldsworthy, a seasoned executive and current Chief Experience Officer at Edrolo, will assume the role of Interim CEO as Wright transitions to the Edrolo Board.
Under Wright's leadership, Edrolo has solidified its position as the market leader in partnering with schools to improve student outcomes. Over the past 2 years with David leading our team, we have:
- launched our full suite for Years 7-10 Maths and Science for the Victorian, New South Wales and Australian Curricular, bringing our decade of expertise helping schools get results in Years 11 and 12 into the earlier stages of secondary schooling
- released our first data reports based on our 1.7 billion datapoints to evidence that practice with Edrolo does equate to results, and we are starting to uncover insights on what can help students succeed, so this can further empower teachers and students
- built a strong foundation for future growth by working more closely with teachers and the sector more broadly, to understand what will best enable educational success
"It has been an incredible journey leading Edrolo through this crucial phase," said David Wright. "We have built strong foundations and developed a robust system that delivers real results for schools and students. The company is now perfectly positioned for its next phase of growth, and I look forward to contributing to this journey from my new position on the Board."
Peter Goldsworthy, incoming Interim CEO, expressed enthusiasm about leading the company forward: "I am deeply committed to Edrolo's mission to improve education - it's a purpose that truly matters. What drew me to this role is not just the clear opportunity for growth as we continue to lead the way in improving student results, but also the exceptional team of dedicated professionals who share this vital mission."
During this transition period, we remain focused on our core mission to support teachers so they can focus on what matters most to them: helping their students to succeed.
